Interactive stock charting tool

Developed for Investis Flife, ShareMonitor 6 is an interactive stock charting tool that shows share information in depth, placing it in the wider context. Besides share prices, the application displays company news, dividends, latest trades, trade volumes, key benchmarks and historical price-data. Even insider trading can be shown. Comparisons can be made against relevant indices, disclosures and competitors’ share development.

ShareMonitor 6 has been regarded as “top of the market” by Investor Relations Magazine, and is used by a number of major publicly-traded corporations, including: Siemens, Deutsche Telecom, Adidas Group, Bayer, Novartis, Roche, Beiersdorf, Swisscom, TNT, Danske Bank and Deutsche Post-DHL.

Objectives

The objectives of the ShareMonitor 6 project were to:

- Provide financial analyst with Web-based access to rich-graphic reporting tools to assist in analysis of financial performance of shares of publicly-traded entities

- Provide real-time presentation of market trade data of company and competitor shares

- Provide a Web-based investment calculator to show the change in price and yield as well as the total return and annualized total return

- Allow users to search a company’s historical share prices and trend historical performance against those of competitors, which users may export to Microsoft Office Excel for further analysis and/or distribution
