    Binary Studio, a boutique software development firm based out of Lviv and Kyiv, Ukraine, is looking for an Account Manager (Client Relations Manager) to assist in the ongoing support and nurturing of our growing band of satisfied customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

    Are you a strong mediator who is proactive in getting stuff done? Do you like communicating directly with clients and building rapport and trust with people? Perhaps you’d like to transform these skills into an exciting career in sales? If so, then we have a very interesting proposition for you!

    As an account manager, your task will be to maintain strong, healthy relationships with our valued customers while encouraging the growth of the collaborations (and our company) through various upselling opportunities and mutually beneficial contract negotiations.

    This is the ideal job for someone with a mature sense of responsibility and ownership in their work, who isn’t afraid of tackling tricky situations and applying a degree of tact and diplomacy to their interactions with high-profile clients. You will play the role of Binary Studio’s main ambassador and diplomat, becoming the face of the company to CEO’s and product owners alike.

    Main focus:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships;
  • Manage projects within client relationships, work to exceed client’s expectations while meeting company goals;
  • Work with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients;
  • Liaise between the client and internal teams and Tech Leads;
  • Identifies opportunities to grow business with existing clients through upselling and cross-selling and references;
  • Conduct regular customer satisfaction surveys, identify weak spots and work to improve them;
  • Keep an updated CRM with information on every client, relaying information to our technical/management teams;
  • Arrange customer visits and make trips to key clients throughout Europe/North America;

    Other responsibilities:

  • Work in tandem with our marketing team, travel to and attend conferences and meetups and introduce our company to our future customers;
  • Research, test, and execute a variety of strategies to generate new leads and close deals to increase company revenue;
  • Actively reach out to prospective leads through a variety of platforms — email, phone, in person meetings, SMM, and more.

Qualifications:

    First and foremost, your job will be to interact with people — you are the premiere conflict resolutionist, who will regularly address clients’ concerns and ensure that their expectations are met and that Binary Studio a fair degree of leverage in our negotiations with our existing customers.

    Beyond that — your capability to work independently and take ownership over your work is of crucial importance. We don’t want to babysit anyone here, and will expect that you make equal contributions to the success of the company (and yourself!) in turn.

    You must be:

  • Mature and experienced professional with relevant background and at least 3 years of experience (it might be sales in IT or project management);
  • A people-person. You need to be a sociable, positive individual who can make a great impression on someone in record time;
  • A consummate professional. It is a given that you treat the job with the respect it deserves — be on time, fulfill promises you make to clients, and rise to the challenge/business demands of the job whenever it is required;
  • An organized, self-driven worker — you will be operating with a degree of autonomy and are expected to take initiative and produce results;
  • A fluent, native or near-native English speaker. You’ll need to be able to communicate in clear English on a regular basis, both in writing and in person;
  • Able to travel — you can expect to travel visiting clients, and meetups while keeping up with your other responsibilities.

    It would be nice if you are:

  • Good at networking. You love meeting new people and keeping in touch with them;
  • Experienced in project management, specifically in the IT sphere, although this certainly isn’t a hard requirement;
  • Fluent in languages (besides English) that fit our target demographic of clients (Scandinavian/Germanic languages are a big plus!);
  • Familiar with development technologies and methodologies, or have engineering experience yourself.
