THE CHALLENGE

The client had a small but skilled in-house development team who was primarily focused on the front-end portion of the product, but sought a reliable partner who could accelerate their development while simultaneously provide valuable guidance for the back-end portion of the platform. Another major factor would be to communicate across a 13-hour time difference - from Ukraine to Hawaii!

To this end, Binary Studio assigned one of their top Binary Studio Academy PHP graduates to the job, who immediately started brainstorming with the inhouse team at Afixia on designing and building the CKC Good Food platform from scratch. Less than half a year later, the first version of the platform was released and put into use.

The code quality is better than anything I could ask for from a senior developer with 15 years of experience.
