The project

Perform Group's Content Score Board (CSB) is a complex widget for both desktop and mobile websites. It provides pre-match and In-Play statistics for different kinds of sports as well as live data visualisation and a video player. It is used by Media and Betting Industry customers alike and is served to millions of end users around the globe.

THE CLIENT

Perform Group is one of the world's biggest digital sports content providers with 1900 employees and more than thirty offices all over the world

Perform Group distributes different kinds of sports content such as statistics, news and video footage to B2B customers in digital media, broadcasting and bookmaking as well as through their own media channels. Their industry leading video on demand platform reaches over 120 million sports fans per month through a network of more than 2,000 publishers.

INVOLVEMENT

Our frontend engineers turned Perform Group's design concepts for the Content Score Board into a fully responsive HTML5 solution that reports results of sport events in real time

Based on the specifications, our team implemented a highly scalable widget with minimal loading times and a user interface that is responsive and highly engaging across all kinds of different screen sizes. We also integrated an easily customized advertising solution. Our involvement included:

  • Designing the application architecture from scratch.
  • Integration of customizable ads based on geoinformation and game status.
  • Adaptation of the application to different sports: football, basketball, ice hockey, volleyball and others.
  • Implementation of numerous rich views displaying complex data from various sources.
