The project

The s.ONE platform is a full-stack project with a backend system to handle event processing, a desktop client for managing rescue operations and mobile applications that support rescue workers on-site. The implementation has to cope with extreme requirements for scalability, availability, security and data privacy.

As part of the project, Binary Studio has developed a backend system to handle event processing, a desktop client for managing rescue operations and mobile applications that support rescue workers on-site. Some of our key achievements include:

Development of a microservice architecture that easily scales to support very high workloads (2k+ users). The architecture is also highly fault-tolerant: it efficiently deals with connections that are unreliable or slow and is resistant to network losses and damaged packages.
Development of more than twenty new modules that significantly extend the functionality of the s.One platform.
Implementation of a smooth installation process for private clouds.
Modernization of the user interface and massive performance improvements for the desktop client.
