The Project

Rydes is a comprehensive mobility platform for businesses to organize and provide transportation options for their employees. The core of the application provides credits for employees to spend on various modes of public transport, provided by their companies - on top of this, it emphasizes reducing individuals’ CO2 footprint and helps businesses achieve their sustainability goals.

THE CHALLENGE

Referred to us from one of our existing clients, Rydes’ product owner was looking to build a comprehensive mobility platform for their startup based on some general wireframes/mockups they had on hand. Time was of the essence to get the platform into production and into users’ hands as quickly as possible, while still maintaining a high degree of stability and building a scalable platform using modern technologies.

THE SOLUTION

After a brief “Inception” discovery phase where the architecture and roadmap of the application was planned out, Binary Studio set to work with a team of 2 engineers managed by a senior architect. Within five months, the first version of the platform was released to users, and since then, Binary has continued to work on the application, adding new features and growing that platform based on user feedback.
